Ipswich Town captain Sam Morsy has joined up with the Egypt squad following an injury scare.
The 31-year-old midfielder - who had waited five years for an international recall - limped off in the latter stages of Saturday's 3-2 comeback home win against Cardiff following a full-blooded challenge on Manolis Siopis.
Speaking after the game, Blues boss Kieran McKenna said: "I think he felt something in his hamstring as he stretched for the ball. He'll have to be assessed. Whether he joins the international team (Egypt) for that assessment or has that here, we'll have to see."
A social media post by King_Fut shows that Morsy has indeed linked up with Rui Vitória's squad ahead of home games against Ethiopia - an African Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday - and Tunisia (a friendly next Monday).
