Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna says Wes Burns and Janoi Donacien were both subbed off with 'little niggles' in today's friendly matches on Austrian soil.
Donacien came off in the 50th minute of this morning's 2-1 training ground win against Spartak Trnava, while Burns limped off, his right calf appearing to be the issue, in the 17th minute of this afternoon's 2-2 draw against Flyeralarm Admira.
"There were a couple of little niggles today, JD and Wes, but I think we got them off nice and early," said McKenna.
"We're at the stage of the season where there's no point taking any risk. As soon as anybody feels anything you generally try and get them off the pitch.
"When you're three weeks in and you've worked hard there are generally little bits and bobs, but in general I think we're in good condition."
Explaining the absence of George Edmundson from today's games, the Blues boss added: "George still has a little aggrevation in his ankle, which we're not overly worried about, but he popped back halfway through the week to get some treatment in London and should hopefully join back with the group next week."
