Sone Aluko and Marcus Harness were both on target as Ipswich Town beat Slovakian side Spartak Trnava 2-1 in a friendly on Austrian soil this morning.
The behind-closed-doors game was played at SC Laa in Laa an der Thaya, which has served as the Blues' training base throughout this week.
Nathan Broadhead's driving run and pass set up Aluko in the fourth minute and he curled home a fine finish.
The lead was doubled five minutes into the second half when Harness ran half the length of the field to score.
Town's club website reports that an 'error at the back' was pounced on by Marco Djuricin as the deficit was reduced.
A different Town XI will now start a game against Austrian second-tier side Flyeralarm Admira (3pm ko UK time).
TOWN: Hladky, Donacien (Baggott 50), Woolfenden, Evans, Davis, Luongo, Humphreys, Aluko (Carr 76), Harness, Broadhead (Ayinde 76), Jackson.
