Former Ipswich Town striker Frank Nouble trained with the club's Under-21s this morning.
The 31-year-old is currently without a club having recently seen a short-term contract at National League club Torquay United expire.
Nouble, who scored four goals in 56 appearances for Town between 2013 and 2015, posted a video on Instagram this morning explaining why he was back at Playford Road.
"I've just had the absolute pleasure and joy of training at one of my old clubs Ipswich Town - as you can see I'm wearing the kit," he said.
"I trained with the Under-21s and my old (Colchester) gaffer John McGreal. The standard was great from the young boys.
"I just want to say thank you very much to John McGreal and the first team manager McKenna for allowing me to come in and stay fit while I look for a new club.
"It was an amazing experience and hopefully I can do some more sessions. Now for the two minute walk home - I love it!"
