Former Ipswich Town captain Carlos Edwards has signed for a new club at the age of 44.
The 92-cap Trinidad and Tobago international - who was at Portman Road from 2009 to 2014 - has joined Suffolk non-league side Hadleigh United ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Edwards, who has previously had spells at Woodbridge Town and Bury Town, continues to work in Ipswich Town's academy.
New Signing ✍️
We would like to welcome Carlos Edwards to the club.
Carlos will bring plenty of experience to the club on and off the pitch. We are delighted to get this one over the line.
