Tamas Priskin, the striker who fired Ipswich Town to a famous victory over Arsenal in the Carling Cup back in 2011, has announced his retirement.
Priskin, whose Town career was generally underwhelming, had his finest hour in a Town shirt in that semi-final clash against the Gunners at Portman Road in January 2011.

In front of a sell-out crowd - and with new boss Paul Jewell watching on from the stands - the Hungarian was superb, giving Town an upset win in the 78th minute with a great finish from a one-on-one with the keeper.
Arsenal superstar Cesc Fabregas was so rattled after the game he accused Ipswich of adopting "rugby" tactics.
Sadly, Arsenal won the return leg at the Emirates 3-0, taking the tie 3-1 on aggregate.
That was the undoubted highlight of Priskin's career in Suffolk.
He arrived to great fanfare after being signed by Roy Keane from Watford for £1.7m in August 2009, but never established himself as a key man.
He departed by mutual consent in March 2012 having played 60 times for the Blues, scoring just nine goals.
Now 36, Priskin has since played for a host of European clubs, most recently Hungarian outfit Gyori ETO.

"A very long period in my life has ended, which was full of more and more beautiful moments.
"If one door closes, somewhere another one opens"
"Thank you for the many years of encouragement and support!"
