Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has been nominated for the League One manager of the season award.
The Town boss, who was recently named manager of the month for March, is nominated alongside Darren Moore of Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle’s Steven Schumacher.
McKenna has guided Town to 82 points from their 40 matches so far this season, while his side are also the leading scorers in the top four divisions of English football with 79.
The winner will be announced at the EFL Awards event on Sunday, April 23, when Town midfielder Cameron Humphreys will also be looking to come away with a trophy.
The teenager, who has appeared 17 times for Town this season, has been nominated for the league’s young player of the year prize, facing competition from Plymouth’s Norwich loanee Bali Mumba and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi of Crystal Palace.
Barry Bannan of Sheffield Wednesday, Jonson Clarke-Harris of Peterborough and Bristol Rovers’ Aaron Collins have been nominated for the League One player of the year award.
The EFL teams of the season will also be named for all three divisions on the night, while the prestigious Sir Tom Finney Award and the Contribution to League Football prizes will also be handed out.
