Former Ipswich Town defender Myles Kenlock has made the move to non-league football, joining Aldershot Town.
The left-back, who came through the Town youth system and made more than 100 appearances for the club, joins the National League side as a free agent after leaving Barrow.
Kenlock had joined the League Two club having been released by the Blues in the summer, having ended last season on loan at Colchester United, but couldn't break into the team and left in January.
Having fallen out of favour at Ipswich under Paul Cook, the defender struggled for minutes at Barrow following his Town exit but now has a chance to get his career going in the fifth tier.
He has joined Aldershot, who sit 18th in the table, on a deal until the end of the season.
Shots manager Ross McNeilly said: “Myles comes with lots of experience in league football.
"He’s a good character and adds depth and quality to to our back line.”
Kenlock could make his Aldershot debut in the FA Trophy against Halifax tomorrow.
