Ipswich Town youngster Tete Yengi could be set for a deadline day departure.
Blues boss Kieran McKenna revealed earlier this month that the club had received interest in the Australian forward 'from English clubs and abroad'.
The EADT and Ipswich Star understands that League Two leaders Leyton Orient are among those who have made an enquiry.
The 22-year-old forward joined the Blues from Australian side Newcastle Jets in September 2021 following a trial, appeared regularly for the club's Under-23s and has recently returned from an impressive loan spell at Finnish top-flight club Vaasan Palloseura.
He's now in the final six months of his contract at Portman Road.
"He's a talented boy, has got some good attributes, both physically and technically, and he's obviously had a good loan spell," said McKenna, when asked about the 6ft 5in Australian earlier this month.
"We've had some interest in him from English clubs and also from abroad. We're keeping that situation open at the minute.
"He's trained with us quite a bit and we want to carefully plot out his next move."
Orient, managed by Richie Wellens, already have Town midfielder Idris El Mizouni on loan.
