London 3 East Stowmarket 30 West Norfolk 14 Stowmarket returned to winning ways against the visitors from Kings Lynn.
The home side took an early lead as fly half Julian Turner struck a well hit penalty, this was soon followed by a long range try from winger Diogo Pina, showing good speed and footwork and helped by a missed knock on.
West Norfolk then entered their best phase of the match and after a period of sustained pressure were able to penetrate through the centres for a converted try.
The game swung back and forth before scrum half and captain Joseph Fifield walked in a try in the corner, and temporary winger James Simpson crossed the line for two further unconverted tries before half-time.
But when the West Norfolk 10 crossed for a converted try a potential shock looked possibly on. However Stowmarket’s superior fitness then began to kick in and the home side took the game away from the visitors as centre Clarke and then full back Dan Garrard went over.
