Plans have been submitted to convert part of a Grade II listed building in Woodbridge into a two-bedroom flat.
The proposals, which have been submitted by Breley Design Ltd on behalf of a Mr Steve Brown, would see the dwelling established above two existing retail units - which will remain - in 19 Thoroughfare.
The retail units were the former premises of the Cake Shop Bakery and cafe, which closed after 75 years in 2021.
Seven years ago, the business was named Britain's best bakery and the owner was named as named Britain's best baker in the industry Oscars in 2017.

The flat would feature a new living room and bathroom, with an outside courtyard dining area also being created as part of the scheme.
Neighbouring number 21 Thoroughfare is already in use as a flat and this new dwelling would be established alongside the existing property.
External refurbishment and a new shopfront - which has not been detailed in planning documents - will also be carried out as part of the proposals.
