There were long delays in Braintree tonight due to a crash.
The A120 Coggeshall Road was closed and there was stationary traffic in both directions.
A woman was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford with neck and abdominal pain.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The road is now clear but there are residual delays.
