Ipswich and Woodbridge care homes are to be visited by a convoy of classic cars delivering mince pies for the second year running.
Bridge Classic Cars, based in Pettistree, near Wickham Market, is gearing up to get its Christmas celebrations underway with its 'Mince Pie Drive' on Thursday.
The convoy of classic cars will visit four care homes in Suffolk during the day - Henley House, The Willows and Silver Birch, all in Ipswich, as well as Haughgate House in Woodbridge.
The cars will also be displayed in front of Christchurch Mansion between 12pm and 1pm on Thursday.
At each care home, the Bridge Classic Cars team will be handing out mince pies for staff and residents to enjoy.
The idea behind the Mince Pie Drive was to bring a little joy to those who might be feeling lonely or disconnected over the festive season.
Molly Harmer, Bridge Classic Cars presenter, said: "It’s such a special thing to be a part of.
"Seeing people’s faces light up when the cars arrive or when they take a bite of a mince pie - it’s a reminder of how important little acts of kindness can be."
