Two dogs have been rescued from a house fire in Lowestoft.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called just before 11am today (December 3) to a house fire in Southwell Road.
Two fire engines from Lowestoft South and one from Great Yarmouth attended the incident as well as Suffolk Police.
Upon arrival, all people were accounted for however two dogs were still trapped on the second floor of the building.
A statement from the fire service said: "The fire was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using two hose-reel jets and one covering jet.
"Two pet dogs in the house were rescued."
