A town on the Suffolk coast has been named among one of the best dog-friendly holiday spots in the UK.
Luxury pet product provider Lords & Labradors has named Southwold as the fifth-best destination for dog owners to take their canine friends on holiday.

The "pretty seaside town" was commended for its eight dog-friendly restaurants and four pet shops.
Southwold received a score of 70 out of 100 placing it just behind dog-friendly hotspots Bakewell, Whitby, Lincoln and Bath.

The destinations were ranked based on the percentage of hotels, restaurants, spas and pubs that are dog-friendly, the number of vets in the local area as well as the number of dog-friendly hikes and cottages.
This comes after the town was also ranked in the top 40 most popular UK holiday destinations for dog owners by Petsure.
West Suffolk town, Bury St Edmunds, was also crowned the most dog-friendly town in the UK in November during the DogFriendly Awards
