A street food entrepreneur has spoken about his "incredible journey" from shadowing at a local Chinese takeaway as a teenager to announcing his second store in a year.
Jamie Burgis was first spotted serving up his sizzling flavours at Suffolk markets and pubs throughout the county for Wok Wraps in June 2023.
The 25-year-old then launched the business's first permanent store in Beach Street in Felixstowe, after the street food brand "exploded on social media" following a review from TikTok legend 'Big John' Fisher.

Looking back on his success, Mr Burgis said: "It's crazy! I started as a 15-year-old working in Top Garden in Bury St Edmunds after school and I just fell in love with pan-Asian cuisine.
"I decided I wanted to launch the Wok Wraps brand just over a year ago now. At first, it was just a grassroots operation with me and my Mum, but it grew as the markets and the pop-ups kept asking for more.

"Then, suddenly, last year it all just sort of blew up! Like very quickly, and all of sudden, we were getting loads of bookings.
He added: "We are really excited about the new space in Mildenhall. We're surrounded by lots of other takeaways and it's also a really busy location - so we are looking forward to it."

Mary Brind, who has worked alongside Mr Burgis since he started at Top Garden as a teenager, said: "It's amazing what he's done and he's had an amazing journey.
"It's really hard to do what he's done in this industry and he should be so proud of what he has achieved. I think people should recognise him for his hard work and dedication."
