Police are keen to speak to a jogger who may have witnessed the attack of a woman. 

Kay Crisp was walking her two dogs on the morning of Monday, November 17 when she was found unconscious on a footpath by two school children on a footpath between Glebe Way and Old Station Road in Mendlesham at 8.15am.

She was treated at hospital for serious facial injuries - including multiple breaks and fractures on her face.

Police were informed of the attack the following day and are investigating the attack as a potential grievous bodily harm.

Officers are keen to speak to a man who was jogging in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident. 

He is described as skinny with dark hair or a dark hat, and was wearing a white vest top and white shorts.

Police are also conducting enquiries including CCTV footage and are "keeping an open mind as to the circumstances of the incident".

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, anyone with information or anyone who was driving along Old Station Road with relevant dashcam footage.
