The owners of a Southwold fruit and veg shop feel "truly blessed" to be featured in Ed Sheeran's new music video.

The singer, who grew up in Framlingham, released his new music video Under The Tree on Tuesday November 26 with parts of it being filmed in Southwold

Little Gems, in Market Place, was among the places featured.

Katy and Matt Barbrook, who own the shop, said; "We are very proud that our little shop was chosen to be featured, it really was an amazing experience.

"The song and video are beautiful and we feel very lucky to be a part of it.

"Ed Sheeran and Claudia Jessie were such a pleasure to have in our shop, we loved every minute.

"We are so grateful to Richard Curtis and Emma Freud for choosing Little Gems to be included in the video and film."

The song is also featured in a new festive film on Netflix called 'That Christmas' which will be available on Wednesday, December 4.

The Christmas film is set in Suffolk and follows characters in a fictional seaside town called Wellington-On-Sea.

The film was written by Richard Curtis and stars Brian Cox as Santa, Killing Eve actress Fiona Shaw, former Doctor Who Jodie Whittaker and Love Actually's Bill Nighy.

Earlier this month Sheeran and Curtis were spotted in Southwold along with film crews.

Sheeran was approached by Curtis for the film two years ago.

The singer said: "It was just sketches and voices, but it blew me away.

“So emotional, yet so heart-warmingly funny, like all Richard Curtis movies. I find since having kids, there’s a real lack of great animated children’s Christmas movies, so I thought this was such an amazing thing to make and put into the world."
