A Suffolk pilates teacher is hoping her calendar of sunrise photos will provide a new dawn for people with Parkinson's disease.

Orford resident Audrey Boyle has produced the Dawn Diaries Calendar 2025, with all profits going to charity Cure Parkinson's.

Audrey, who herself has Parkinson's, has been getting up early every day to take photos of the sunrise over Orford Quay to turn into a calendar which she hopes will raise £2,000 for Cure Parkinson's by Christmas.

The charity is working to end Parkinson's - a condition in which parts of the brain become progressively damaged over many years.

She said: "As many Orford residents know I’ve been getting up at an ungodly hour to photograph the sunrise from Orford Quay every single morning.

"I'm now on day 125 of diarising the dawn - at least I'm getting a longer lie in as we approach the winter equinox.”

The calendars are on sale for £12 at Orford's Crafty Cuppa coffee shop in Front Street and Pinneys of Orford in Quay Street.

Copies of the calendar have been sent as far afield as Scotland, New Zealand, Germany, the US and Ukraine.
