A pet gerbil was given oxygen from firefighters after a house fire broke out in a Suffolk town.
Firefighters were called to a house blaze in Tollgate Lane in Bury St Edmunds at about 3.15am on Tuesday.
A spokesman for the fire service said the fire had broken out in the upstairs bedroom of the property.
Two fire engines from Bury St Edmunds attended the incident and the East of England Ambulance Service was also called but was not required.
The blaze was extinguished by firefighters in breathing apparatus and using two hose-reel jets.
All occupants of the house were accounted for and there were no injuries, the spokesman confirmed.
A pet gerbil was also rescued and given oxygen at the scene using a Smokey Paws pet oxygen mask.
Then a stop notice was issued at 5am.
