Drivers will face delay as work is set to begin on a new zebra crossing in a Suffolk town.
The work will be taking place in Aldeburgh Road in Leiston.
The zebra crossing installation is due to be carried out from Monday, December 2, until Friday December, 13.
During this time the road will be closed from Kings Road to Seaward Avenue at all times to ensure the safety of Suffolk Highways users and operatives.
Following the completion of the crossing, carriageway resurfacing will be carried out on Aldeburgh Road from Monday, December 16 and Tuesday, December 17.
During this time the road will be closed from Sizewell Road to Red House Lane at all times.
A diversion route via High Street, Main Street, Park Hill, Haylings Road, Leiston Road, Aldringham Lane, Aldeburgh Road and vice versa will be in place.
Suffolk Highways ask that local road users move their vehicles from the area highlighted by 'no parking' cones.
