A new head chef has joined the team at an award-winning restaurant.
The Angel Inn, a hotel and eatery in Stoke-by-Nayland, has appointed Matt Hurry to the team.
Its restaurant offers locally sourced food and was recently awarded a highly coveted three AA Rosettes.
Mr Hurry joined the team as the new head chef in October.
In 2019 he won the Young Chef of the Year award while working at the Hotel Cafe Royal's Laurent Restaurant and before coming to Suffolk, Mr Hurry was the head chef at The Grove Hotel and Spa's Stables Restaurant in Hertfordshire.

"I am delighted to be joining The Angel Inn, Stoke-by-Nayland," said the head chef.
"This is a fabulous site with huge potential and I am excited about bringing great food and a special dining experience to this beautiful area of Suffolk.
"I am looking forward to building on the strong reputation and loyal following which The Angel Inn already enjoys."
Richard Sunderland, acting director of operations for Suffolk Country Inns, said: "Matt will be a great addition to The Angel Inn.
"He has the passion, enthusiasm and skills to take us to the next stage in our evolution."
