A plane, believed to be a NATO surveillance aircraft, was spotted circling over Suffolk.
The Boeing E-3A Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft was seen over parts of west Suffolk on Friday afternoon.
According to the Flightradar app the plane travelled over Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.
The jet, which has a huge radar done, crossed the North Sea from its base in Geilenkirchen, Germany, before making its way back to base later in the afternoon.
The NATO website states the aircraft carries out a wide range of missions for peacetime air policing, support to counter-terrorism, evacuation operations, initial entry and crisis response to the full spectrum of wartime missions.
It is not clear why the plane was circling over west Suffolk.
NATO has been approached for a comment.
