A family from east Suffolk have celebrated Christmas early so that they can be with their loved ones due to work commitments over December.
The Dyers, who live in Tunstall, celebrated Christmas with their family from Bournemouth on Monday, November 18.
This is the fourth year they have had an early family Christmas, due to them all being busy over the festive period due to their jobs.
Mother of the family Allison Dyer said: "The first year we did it it was at the end of October and it just went so well and was lovely so we decided to make it a yearly thing.
"We have an artificial tree and decorations go up a couple of days before my cousin and her family are to come up.
"We do the inside of the house, which is lovely because I can then just leave it up throughout December.
"We don't decorate the front just so our neighbours don't think we have completely lost the plot.
"The good thing with celebrating early is it's no one else's Christmas, so we can go to the shops if we need to get anything."
The family have a full turkey roast with the trimmings and do presents, exactly as it would be on Christmas Day.
Mrs Dyer added: "We do have another Christmas on December 25 with other members of family.
"The second one is a bit more tiring though which is why it's lovely to have the early Christmas because there's less stress. We feel like we can do it and be more relaxed."
On 'Christmas Eve' the families went for a walk in Aldeburgh wearing Santa hats and on their Boxing Day, the family, donning Christmas jumpers, went to Boom Battle Bar in Ipswich to continue the celebrations.
