A town centre road is expected to be partially blocked until the end of the week while work to fix is burst water main is ongoing.
Large puddles are forming in East Street in Sudbury, near to the Weavers Tap pub, as a result of the burst main pipe.
A spokeswoman for Anglian Water said: "We’re sorry for any traffic disruption on East Street in Sudbury over the next couple of days.
"In order to keep our teams and road users safe, we have needed to partially close the road to enable our team to repair a burst main.
“Once repaired, we’ll need to reinstate the road to put it back to how it originally was.
"All being well, we’ll be able to reopen the road by the end of this week. We would like to thank our customers for their patience while we complete this essential work.”
Work to fix the issue has begun and part of the road has been dug up.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area if possible while work on the issue is completed.
