Photographs have shown the aftermath of a fire that ripped through a bungalow in an east Suffolk village.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the scene of a "well developed fire" in Sutton Heath, near Woodbridge, at 2pm on Tuesday.
Crews from Ipswich and Woodbridge fire stations attended and used breathing apparatus teams, an aerial ladder platform, a water carrier and a command support unit to extinguish the fire, which happened at an address in Thorn Walk.
A spokesman for Woodbridge fire station said: "All crews on scene worked hard to stop the fire spreading to the next property along, and ultimately extinguish the fire.
"Appliances remained on scene into the evening, and the crew from Woodbridge then re-attended at 10pm for a reinspection."
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service confirmed a man was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment after the blaze.
His condition is not known at this time.
