Greater Anglia trains between Ipswich and London remain among the best in Britain for reliability and punctuality, according to the latest monthly figures.
The company has been at the top of the league table for punctuality - trains arriving at their station within five minutes - every month since April 2023.
The October figures show that 96% of commuter trains from Ipswich, Colchester and Chelmsford to London were within that measure.
Intercity trains from Norwich, Ipswich and Colchester to London were on time 94% of the time.
The line from Marks Tey to Sudbury was one of the most reliable in the region with almost 98% of trains on time and the rural services from Ipswich to Felixstowe, Lowestoft, Peterborough and Cambridge were on time between 91% and 96% of the time.
The overall figure for the company was 94%.
Greater Anglia managing director Martin Beable said: “We are very pleased to be delivering consistently high levels of punctuality for our customers and stakeholders across East Anglia. We are committed to maintaining these excellent performance standards."
