Passengers at a railway station are being warned that a footbridge over the tracks will be closed.
The bridge over the railway line at Marks Tey will be closed for refurbishment works between Sunday, December 22 and Friday, December 27.
Greater Anglia has said that a bus will be provided to assist people with accessing the other side of the station.
A spokesman for the rail operator said as a result of the closure, customers travelling from stations on the Sudbury line are unlikely to make the normal London connection train.
People are being advised to wait and catch the next available service to the capital.
