Roadworks across the county have been delayed as snow and ice is set to hit this week.
Suffolk Highways has postponed planned works in Clifton Road in Lowestoft, Norton Road in Haverhill and Victoria Street and Kings Street in Felixstowe.
A spokesman for the authority said: "We will provide a further update once the works have been reprogrammed, we apologise for any inconvenience caused."
A new date for when the work will start has not yet been announced by Suffolk Highways.
The push back comes as a yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued by the Met Office.
Snow showers are due to develop during Tuesday evening and continue overnight into Wednesday morning.
