Firefighters were called to tackle two cars that were ablaze in a village.
Photographs and video showed the firefighters extinguishing the fire that broke out in Great Yeldham, near Sudbury.
The photographs show large amount of smoke coming from the cars.
A spokesperson for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said, "Firefighters from Halstead were called to Bridge Street, Great Yeldham at 4.22pm.
"On arrival, crews confirmed it was a collision between two vehicles, both cars were on fire as a result of the collision. There was no one trapped or injured.
"Crews are worked to extinguish the fire by 5.12pm."
