A housebuilder founded in Woodbridge in 1993 has moved to a new head office in Bury St Edmunds.
Hopkins Homes was founded by James Hopkins who sold it to private equity firm Terra Firma in January 2022 after building it into one of the largest private housebuilding companies in East Anglia.
Now the business has moved its head office from Melton to new offices on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds near junction 42 of the A14.
The company said the move marked a "vibrant new chapter" for the business.
"This prime location improves Hopkins Homes' operational efficiency and accessibility, allowing the housebuilder to better serve its ongoing and future developments," it said.
Last month, two housebuilder brands - Hopkins Homes and Tilia Homes - were formed into one company - called untypical.
Untypical is owned by the Hands Family Office - founded by Guy Hands - and is managed by European private equity investment firm Terra Firma.
Duncan Jackson, regional managing director of untypical’s East Anglia region, said the move to new premises placed the company in the heart of the region.
"Our move to Bury St Edmunds is a pivotal moment for Hopkins Homes and the wider untypical group," he said.
"It not only positions us closer to our projects but also places untypical at the heart of East Anglia, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to this region.
"While Melton has been our home for many years, and our roots in the community continue to run deep, we’re thrilled to embark on this new adventure.
"We're eager to extend our reach, serve new communities and continue to build the distinctive premium homes that people want, need, and are proud of."
Hopkins Homes said its aim was to continue to deliver sustainable new homes to meet the evolving needs of buyers in the region.
Ongoing projects include Abbots Vale development in Bury St Edmunds which set to launch in early 2025.
