Enjoying crisp walks at this time of the year is made all the better when you can head out with your four legged friend.
Suffolk has many great places to head out including five must dog walks.
1- Dunwich Heath
From September 1 to February 28 dogs can be let off their lead during a walk at Dunwich Heath.
Owners are able to take their pets inside the tea room which have pawprint labelled tables, as well as water bowls and taps outside the building.
Spare leads, treats and poo bags are available from the visitor information centre and even tennis balls so you can enjoy a game with your dog on the walk.

2- Ickworth Estate
Dogs are welcome in the parkland, on woodland walks, the walled garden and at Porter's Lodge café when on the estate.
There are water bowls available at the welcome hub and a plant centre, dog beds and blankets are at the Porter's Lodge and you can fill up your portable dog bowls at the water taps across the estate.
Ickworth Estate are also providing free dog training sessions which take place once a month and the exercises will vary every month.
It is advised when bringing your dogs to keep them on their leads at all times.

3- Flatford
Another area to head out to that is perfect for a dog walk is Flatford and its mill.
Dogs are expected to be kept on a lead at all times but are allowed in all outside areas, as well as the Boat Inn Gallery section of the tea room, the Constable exhibition and Bridge Cottage.
There are water and drinking bowls available at Bridge Cottage, a dog friendly tea room, walks with some shade, route maps and several dog bins.

4- Nowton Park
With almost 200 acres of landscaped Suffolk countryside it is a perfect place for a dog walk.
The Bury St Edmunds park is opened daily from 8am to 6pm from November to March and is free for all to enjoy.
The park has a café, children's play area and football pitches.
5- Brandon Country Park
Made up of 30 acres of managed parkland, the country park boasts a mausoleum, lawns and pond, historic walled garden and miles of nature trails.
These include a one mile red trail, a half a mile purple trail and the five and half mile orange trail.
The park is also home to the Copper Beach café.
Dogs are expected to be under control at all times.
