The manager of an Indian restaurant in a west Suffolk town said he is "delighted" after being recognised as a winner in a prestigious award.
Spice Lounge, of High Street, Mildenhall, has been handed a Good Food Awards 2024 Blue Ribbon.
Announcing the award, manager Jay Ali said: "I'm absolutely delighted to announce that we have once again been recognised as a winner.
"This year's competition has been truly remarkable, marked by an unprecedented number of participants and votes.
"As expected, the competition has been at its hardest, and being only one of four restaurants in Suffolk and the only Indian restaurant, it makes us very proud and honoured to have received this award two years in succession," he added.
Good Food Awards are voted for by the public and Blue Ribbons are given to restaurants with high customer ratings/votes.
Mr Ali continued: "We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for your unwavering love, support, and votes, without whom this wouldn't have been possible.
"I would also like to congratulate the team at Spice Lounge and thank them for all of their hard work, passion, and commitment, towards keeping our customers happy, as this award is a merit for their hard work.
"Thank you all for being a part of our journey, and we hope to have made our community proud."
Spice Lounge Mildenhall was also named amongst the best in the Good Food Awards 2023.
This year, other Suffolk winners included The Grill At Twenty5 in Ipswich which received a Gold Seal from the Good Food Awards.
Baltic Amber Restaurant and Bar in Haverhill scooped a Blue Ribbon Award and The Grazing Sheep in Ipswich was the only café in Suffolk to receive a Gold Seal award.
Bay Tree Café in Bury St Edmunds, Juniper Bar in Rendham and Jet Lounge@99 in Hadleigh all received a Blue Ribbon while CodFellas in Ipswich and Aldeburgh Fish and Chip Shop were awarded a Gold Seal.
