Two churches in west Suffolk were the victims of burglary over Remembrance weekend.
St Andrew's Church on Hilly Close, in Sapiston, was broken into sometime between Thursday, November 7 and Saturday, November 9.
The unknown person forced a wooden collection box open and stole the contents.
St Mary's Church on Church Road, in Market Weston, was broken into sometime between 11.45am on Sunday, November 10 and 9am on Monday, November 11.
The collection box was forced open, and a metal safe was taken from the church.
Police are reminding residents, especially those in rural communities, to be vigilant in the wake of the incidents.
Anyone with information related to either of the two break-ins is being urged to contact the Rural Crime Team at Suffolk police, quoting the crime reference numbers 37/64141/24 for Sapiston and 37/64185/24 for Market Weston.
