Kingsley Home Care is launching monthly "Beat Loneliness" events in three towns across the region.
The initiative, starting on November 20, invites the community to drop in for tea, coffee, cakes, and a chat.
The events will begin at 10.30am and continue throughout the day at the company's Lowestoft, Diss, and Aylsham branches.
Georgina Johnstone, Kingsley Home Care's chief operating officer, said: “This idea has come about following conversations with local residents about the effects that loneliness has on a person’s wellbeing.
“Opening the office doors to the community will provide a safe, welcoming space for those feeling isolated to connect with others.

"It's a proactive way to address loneliness, which has significant impacts on both mental and physical health.”
The branches are in London Road North, Lowestoft, Mere Street, Diss and Morton Road, Aylsham.
The first event in Lowestoft will feature a tabletop sale in aid of the RNLI, run by Kingsley Home Care client Doreen Butters.
The second event, on December 12, coincides with Christmas Jumper Day and will feature festive food.
In the new year, the events will be held on the third Wednesday of every month.
