A mum has opened a hair salon specialising in male hair replacement and hopes it will build a "legacy" for her son.
Tori Laval is the owner of Phoenix Hair Design on Gainsborough Street in Sudbury.
The hairdresser has been in the industry for 13 years before setting up her own salon and wanted to create a safe space for male customers after seeing her own friend struggle with his confidence.
The salon offers hair cuts, colouring, hair ups and men's cuts but specialises in hair extensions and non-surgical male hair replacements.
The non-surgical systems allow men with hair loss to have a fixed head of hair that is more secure than a lay-on wig.

Ms Laval said: "I trained in the hair systems because my best friend struggled with his confidence so I took the plunge and decided to branch out.
"There is a lot of stigma around hair replacements in men and something like this can change someone's life.
"I've had blokes in here crying with happiness when they see the result because we've created a safe space."
Ms Laval said she badgered her mother from as young as 11 to let her sweep the floors in the salon and has now been listed as one of the top ten in the district by the Hair and Beauty Awards.
She also was a finalist for the Hairstylist of the Year by the Hair and Beauty Awards.
The mum-of-one said: "I want to build a legacy and give my son the best.
"When he is older, if he wants to get into the industry, the business will have already been set up for him."
She hopes that the smaller space offers a more private setting for clients to feel comfortable in receiving hair loss treatment.
The salon's grand opening was on Saturday, showing guests the new space and what is on offer.
