A sensitive and affectionate dog who loves chin and ear massages is looking for his dream home.
Sweep is a Lhasa Apso currently based at Blue Cross in Wherstead who enjoys the company of other dogs and people.
A spokesman for the animal charity said Sweep is an "affectionate chap" and described him as "a sensitive soul who will need gentle integration into a home environment".
They added: "He is hoping to find a setting where there are quiet walking routes as he hasn’t experienced much of the world so far.

"Sweep really enjoys the company of other dogs and it also helps in his confidence when out and about, so could live with a suitably matched dog."
"At the moment, Sweep finds the grooming process overwhelming and is looking for someone that can help support him in finding a patient, one to one groomer that can reintroduce him to the grooming experience.
"Due to being a Lhasa Apso he will need regular brushing at home.

Sweep is not house-trained so will need help with this in his new home and a garden for regular toilet breaks.
He also has a common condition called luxating patella, which affects both his hind legs, so is currently being managed well on anti-inflammatory medication, but may require surgical correction in future.
