An Ipswich-raised 1980s pop icon has been announced to play a west Suffolk venue in 2025.

Nik Kershaw, who has played Ipswich Regent Theatre in the past, will now take on The Apex in Bury St Edmunds.

The show, scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, has been promised as "an intimate evening of songs, stories and silliness".

The Wouldn't It Be Good singer attended Ipswich's Northgate Grammar School, now known as Northgate High School.
