Plans for 78 homes in a mid Suffolk village have been submitted.
Denbury Homes has lodged a hybrid application with Mid Suffolk District Council for land to the south of Glebe Way in Mendlesham.
The proposals consists of a full planning application for 76 homes, as well as outline plans for two self-build plots.
Affordable homes will account for 27 properties in the full application.
Plans include a range of two, three, four and five bedroom houses and bungalows on the development.
There will be 19 homes per hectare, according to plans.
The site is allocated in the Mendlesham Neighbourhood plan, which was created in 2022.
Previous applications for homes on the land, which sits to the east of Old Station Road, have been lodged. However, these will be withdrawn as a result of the new proposals.

A new link road could be created between Glebe Way and Old Station Road as part of the proposals.
The site plan suggests access will be Old Station Road to the east.
A planning statement said: "The new link road will create a strong sense of arrival into the development with an attractive street scene, which is clear to navigate with tree planting alongside to create an attractive ‘tree lined’ avenue."
The design and access statement said: "The development can stimulate local growth by attracting new residents and potentially increasing demand for local businesses and services.
"Contributions towards education and healthcare, will be delivered, ensuring the development supports community infrastructure and aligns with the Mendlesham Neighbourhood Plan’s objectives."
It follows consultation with the local community, including a drop-in event held in September.
The plans are the latest homes scheme for the village, near Debenham.
Bayfield Homes is currently building 28 homes on land south of Chapel Road, towards the north of the village.
It comes after outline plans were submitted for 70 homes in Cavendish Road in Clare, between Sudbury and Haverhill.
