Paralympic gold medallist William Ellard has been awarded the Freedom of Beccles.
The 18-year-old, who won two gold and one silver medal at the Paralympic Games in Paris, was presented with the honour by Beccles mayor Colin Hill at a ceremony.
He follows fellow Paralympian Jordan Catchpole and Nobel Prize winner Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin in getting the honour.
His father thanked the council for recognising his son's achievements.
