A Suffolk holiday park appears to have stopped making its indoor swimming pools available to the public just days after launching its winter timetable.
Felixstowe Beach Holiday Park, in Walton Avenue, had started a revised timetable for the winter season on Monday (November 4), which included general public swim sessions and had advertised the offer on a newly-established "Felixstowe Beach Pool" page on social media site Facebook.
However, by Wednesday the page had been removed and the sessions - to take place during school term time only - had ended.

The news of the U-turn has come as a shock to swimmers who had been using the facility since the public sessions had started in October.
In a letter to this newspaper, Ipswich resident Audrey Naylor said she had been visiting the holiday park's pools for about a month with her husband and the swim had been a "huge help" to his disabling condition, which hit his morale and meant he had to give up e-tricycling.
She said she liked the "warm and shallow" water, especially as she was a nervous swimmer.

She added: "So today, it was a blow to find the timetables had abruptly disappeared with no announcement and when I phoned, the reception team were not able to divulge the reason for the decision, although they thought it was not to do with numbers of customers."
The winter timetable would have seen general swimming for the public between 9am and 11am, Monday to Friday, while on Saturdays and Sundays there would be general swimming between 10am and 4pm, except for between 1pm and 2pm when the pool is closed.
The slot between 8am and 9am, Mondays to Fridays, was to be reserved for home owners, along with between 9am and 10am on Saturdays and Sundays.

Last week, this newspaper revealed how the decision to open to the public appeared to create competition for the town's other swimming pool at Felixstowe Leisure Centre.
The park was set to charge just £4 for adults and £3 for children, undercutting the leisure centre's prices for non-members of £6.75 for adults and £4.50 for "juniors and concessions".
A spokesperson for Holiday Parks said the public sessions were for a "trial period" and the park management had decided not to continue.
