A Suffolk café that won a county's best award will now go through to the national heat in England's Business Awards.

Café 24, based at Stonham Barns, was crowned Suffolk's best at the Raddison Blue Hotel at Stansted Airport less than a month ago and will now compete in the national finals in Birmingham on Sunday, November 17.

The café recently underwent a complete remodel and relaunch with a new outdoor eating area.

The café began with after owner, Sarah Shaw, took on her late mother's dream of owning and running a business of her own.

"We are constantly making improvements to the service we offer and are hugely excited at what we have achieved here at Stonham Barns Park.

"More people are coming in to try the service as a result of the first award win. 

"At this rate we will be busier than ever.  If anyone is interested, I would invite them to come and try the café to see what you think."

"To get to the next level of this award is beyond exciting.  I put this café together as a tribute to my Mum who was my role model and inspiration. 

"She was a home baking enthusiast and very much a people person. She would be amazed at what I have achieved."
