The new faces behind a Sudbury pub are looking for Young Community Hero Award 2024 nominations.
The initiative has been developed by the new landlords at The Maldon Grey to celebrate young people who have gone above and beyond for others.
It is open to those between five and sixteen including young carers, charity fundraisers or inspirational young people who have "dealt with hardship and difficulties in their young lives."
Prizes include a trophy and certificate as well as a VIP dinner at The Maldon Grey where the winner will turn on the festive lights in the pub garden.
They will also have their picture on the wall of fame in the pub, to be joined by future award winners.
Jay Evans, joint landlord at The Maldon Grey, said: "I have personally been surprised by some of the stories about children in the area, selflessly working to help others, and I wanted to find a way to celebrate them."
Entries can be submitted now via an online submission form ahead of the deadline on November 14.
