An independent school is entering a new era after it was purchased by new owners.
Forfar Education Ltd has taken over Finborough School, near Stowmarket, from the Sinclair family.
The school will continue under the leadership of headteacher Steven Clark.
"This is a wonderful development for the entire Finborough Family," said Mr Clark.
"Forfar helps schools to enhance what they do best and is strongly aligned with all we believe in here at Finborough.
"We are confident that with their support, we can stay true to our mantra of 'better never stops' and look forward to further developing excellence in both the character and education of our students."
James Sinclair has been in charge of the school since 2008, running it alongside Louise Sinclair.
The school is looking to expand after plans were lodged with Mid Suffolk District Council to build a new single-storey dormitory block and teaching facilities.
A statement of need said the new facility would allow for it to grow its pupil numbers and create additional jobs for teachers.
Forfar Education currently runs 10 schools across the country.
