Police have given an update on an incident that closed the A14 for three hours.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway near Newmarket at about 7.05pm on Sunday.
Cambridgeshire Police have since revealed they were called a two-vehicle crash and attended the scene alongside the fire service and paramedics.
Minor injuries were reported and the road was cleared by 10pm.
The crash caused severe delays with queues of almost two miles forming as a result.
