A picturesque town on the Suffolk coast has been named as one of the best places for a last minute break.
Experts at Holiday Cottages have shared their picks of the best destinations in the UK and Ireland for a weekend getaway.
The list included "pretty chocolate-box villages, rolling hills, and breath-taking coastlines," including the town of Aldeburgh.

Foodies and art lovers will enjoy a trip to Aldeburgh which is known for its award-winning fish and chips and cultural heritage.
English composer Benjamin Britten lived in the coastal town from 1957 until his death in 1976.
Maggi Hambling's Scallop statue located on the beach bears the words "I hear those voices that will not be drowned" from Britten's opera Peter Grimes.
