A recently reopened Suffolk pub says it is "excited" about the new car boot sale it will be running in its car park after a series of successful car shows and events.

White Hart Inn in Boxford, near Hadleigh, will be hosting its second-ever car boot sale on Sunday, November 10.

The pub, which reopened under new management in July, says it will be offering pastries, cakes and coffees for people at the event with its onsite cafe.

The event will take place from 10am until 1pm and will be hosting up to 30 pitchers. 

A spokesman for the pub said: "We're really excited about this event after the success of our recent car shows. Car boot sales are a really good thing for people around here as they bring people together and allow people to trade things they don't need.

"This will be the second car boot sale we will have run. The first one went pretty well considering the weather. Our car park holds around 30 cars and we are looking to fill it with pitchers.

"We just want to offer the village something different and we hope events like these will bring us closer to our customers."

This news comes after the pub was recently reopened under new management after it appeared on the market for £485,000. 

The bar area at the pub will be open from 12pm until 10.30pm.
