Midwives in a Bury St Edmunds hospital have welcomed this year's 'Halloween babies' born on the special, spooky day.
In a post on social media the midwives at West Suffolk Hospital's maternity wards described it as a "fa-boo-lous" night shift as they welcomed the first babies born on October 31.
They said the very first to be born was baby Isaac who arrived shortly after midnight at 12.20pm to proud parents Jodie and Kasie.
Baby Isaac weighed 5lb 10.5oz.
A few hours later Baby Bedford arrived, described as a "beautiful girl" weighing 8lb 7.5oz.
The midwives also explained that all babies staying at the hospital over Halloween would be offered the opportunity to make a keepsake footprint in the shape of a ghost.
Celebrating their very first Halloween, these keepsakes were supported by My Wish Charity which provided the supplies to the hospital.
In their post, midwives wrote: "Too cute to spook. It was a fa-boo-lous night shift for our midwives last night who welcomed the very first of our Halloween babies!"
