A holiday park in a Suffolk seaside town is opening its indoor swimming pools to the public for the first time during the school term.
Felixstowe Beach Holiday Park, in Walton Avenue, which is run by Park Holidays, has launched a revised pool timetable for the winter season, which includes general swim sessions for the public and starts on Monday (November 4).
Currently, no booking is needed for these sessions, which will be held between 9am and 11am, Monday to Friday, while on Saturdays and Sundays there will be general swimming between 10am and 4pm, except for between 1pm and 2pm when the pool will be closed.

The slot between 8am and 9am, Monday to Friday, is reserved for home owners at the park, while at the weekends, owners can swim between 9am and 10am on Saturdays and Sundays.
The pool is only open to the public during term times, as the park has to prioritise holidaymakers and home owners during the school holidays.
However, the town already has a public swimming pool at Felixstowe Leisure Centre in Undercliff Road West and the decision to open up the holiday park's pool would appear to be creating competition for the leisure centre facility.
Additionally, the park is set to charge just £4 for adults, £3 for children, while infants aged up to three can swim for free.
This compares with the leisure centre's fees for non-members, which are £6.75 for adults and £4.50 for "juniors and concessions".

A spokesperson for Places Leisure, which owns the leisure centre, said: “We welcome many people through the doors of Felixstowe Leisure Centre every day who use many of our facilities, including our swimming pool.
"We provide different memberships and pay-as-you-go options to allow our customers to use our facilities in a way that suits them.
"Physical exercise, including swimming, provides many benefits, therefore we see the positives in creating more opportunities to be physically active.”
Holiday Parks declined to comment.
