A van driver and a motorcyclist have tested positive for drugs following a serious crash on the A143.
Emergency services were called on Thursday morning to the junction with Thurston Road and Brandon, near Great Barton.
A police spokesman said a van driver was arrested after a roadside drug swipe tested positive.
He was taken to a nearby police station as part of further inquiries.
A spokesman confirmed a motorcyclist, who sustained serious leg injuries, also tested positive for drugs following a roadside test.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for further care.
A spokesman said investigations will continue once he is discharged from care.
There were heavy delays in the area but the road is now clear and traffic is flowing normally.
